Voice Talent
Do you have a voice?
Does it produce sound?
Can you speak English?
Do you have a pulse?
If you meet these requirements, then you can join the Prequel team! We're looking for voice actors (experience isn't necessary, though helpful) of all nationalities who can speak English in order to provide unique voices for all of the characters in the LBA universe! From the leads all the way to small cameos, there are parts for everyone. Our goal is to get samples from everyone in the LBA community, in order to really make this a true fan project.

This is the place to find all the audition scripts which you can read and record. We will be posting text that you can read for a particular role, as well as directions (if any) for your performance. Then, we'll have a link for you to upload your files, and we can get to work on reviewing them. Please follow the instructions carefully before recording any auditions:
1.) Remember that while we want to include as many people as possible, you may not get the particular part you had in mind. Please don't take this personally - we're not professionals, we're simply seeking out which person we think fits the part best.
2.) Speak clearly! If we can understand what you're saying, its going to be awful hard for someone playing the game as well. If we can decipher what you've mentioned, we can't use you in the project. So please, slow down. Remember, you know exactly what to say - the player doesn't. A good tip is to speak slower than you usually would, and concentrate on that. You might feel like it sounds weird at first, but to a listener, it will be much better.
3.) Record in a quiet environment. We don't really care where you record as long as there is no background noise or chatter. Think of things like machines and appliances you might not even notice but would be heard in the background of your recording.
4.) Please use English. While there may be some sort of alternate audio versions down the road, we've chosen to use English as the default language. As we've said, while we want as many people as possible to be involved, if you are a better English speaker, you are probably more desireable to us for a leading role. By that same token - we will not turn down someone for a leading role even if they don't speak English as well as others if we feel they would be the best fit for the part.
5.) PLEASE REFRAIN FROM FILTERING OR ADDING EFFECTS TO YOUR VOICE. It doesn't allow us to hear you properly, and we may want to experiment with different filters ourselves.
6.) Try to use file types that are common, such as .wav, .wma, .mp3, etc. This will simplify the process for us, and allow us to access your audition faster.
7.) You can audition for multiple parts! Express your creativity! And don't be embarassed...to paraphrase a Jedi - use your feelings.
8.) Remember to follow the instructions (if any) or directions for each particular character audition.
That's about it. Follow these directions, and we'll be well on our way to recording the audio for a really great game!
