Characters

Here is the list of main characters that will appear in the Prequel. These designs may range from 3D renders to early concept art. By the time the final game is released, these may change slightly. Remember, all images are © Copyright 2007 LBA Prequel Team.

Hégésippe The hero of the Prequel, Hégésippe is Twinsen's ancestor. Though he is young and brash, he is well-liked in the community for his honesty and dutiful care of his elderly grandfather, Alexis. He spends much of his time at the local café and is fond of sailing.

Alexis Hégésippe's paternal grandfather. When his son and daughter-in-law were killed, Alexis was given the responsibility of taking care of Hégésippe and his younger brother, Jules. Though he fancies himself some sort of aged paladin, frequently talking about his adventures as a younger man, he is now too frail to act on that resolve in his old age. He spends most of his time reading.

Jules Jules is the younger brother of Hégésippe. Though he is only a little boy, he wants to be just like his older brother, and mimics him incessantly.

Zubari Zubari is an archaeologist famous throughout Twinsun. He is very mysterious, and is rarely seen in public. His books are bestsellers. Not much is known about his past, and those who have tried to find out have been stumped. He is proficient in a variety of disciplines, especially history and military strategy. He is frequently critical of the decisions of the Twinsunian Wizard Council.

Doctor Knap An eccentric medicine man, Dr. Knap is considered by many to be a quack. His ideas and theories are often grandiose and unfounded, but he means well. His office is on Proxima Island.

Jacques Bartender for the café on Lanyar Island, Jacques is a well-liked fellow. Though he tends to ramble on with his numerous stories (no doubt acquired during his many years as a bartender), he is a source of information and knowledge about the people and places around Twinsun. A personal friend of Hégésippe, he often gives him advice and could probably be called his mentor.

Captain Lucius Captain Lucius is the ruthless leader of the pirates who have been terrorizing the citizens of Twinsun! In addition to his brute strength, Lucius also is a cunning swordsman, and a merciless villain. What plans does this buccaneer have for our Hero, Hégésippe?

Fáolain An overbearing sphero, Fáolain is Hégésippe's next door neighbor. Though he is a busybody and a hypochondriac, he means well, and often watches over Alexis and Jules when Hégésippe is out.

Iris Iris is a female quetch who is the second-in-command of the pirate crew. She is oftentimes harsh in her mannerisms, but can also be surprisingly sweet. Is she an ally or an enemy? Only time will tell whether this strange quetch girl is in it to help or hinder Hégésippe on his adventure...
