______________________________________________________________Hégésippe - Read with clear diction; Twinsen-like: 1.) (interrogative tone) "I'm looking for Doctor Knap. I've heard he lives on this island. Do you know where I could find him?" 2.) (exasperated) "I've got to find that lake! It's a matter of life or death!" 3.) (frustrated) "Grandfather, why can't you just tell me? I'm tired of all the mystery."

Alexis - Read with clear diction; elderly; feeble: 1.) "Ah, thank you my boy. You’ve brought me a doctor. May you be blessed by Sendell!" 2.) "My age has little to do with it. Go to my bedroom, Hegesippe, and open the chest. The one you have always been forbidden to open. Here is the key." 3.) (coy) "That is a question I am afraid I cannot answer, my grandson. You must fulfill your destiny alone."

Jules - Read with clear diction; as a small child; a little boy's intonation: 1.) "Hey ‘Sep! Hey, stop, will ya! Jeeze, I’m still just a little squirt, I can’t run as fast as you do. Can I pleeeeease come with you on your adventure? I promise I’ll be quiet!" 2.) "Oh, please please please Sip, can I come with you? I’ll bring my super-action hyper power force thunder sword! We can beat them together!" 3.) "He was sitting in here, and all the sudden, I heard a thump! Whatever he saw on the telescreen must have made him faint!"

Zubari - This part has multiple styles. Feel free to experiment with as many as you wish, but please try your best. Read with EXTREMELY clear diction; British accent similar to that of Ian McKellen ("Magneto" from X-Men) or Peter Cushing ("Grand Moff Tarkin" from Star Wars); OR slightly sinister take on Peter Sellers as "Dr. Strangelove"; OR David Ogden Stiers as "Charles Emerson Winchester III" in M*A*S*H; very elegant: 1.) "Hello, Twinsen. I've been longing to speak with you for a long time. Though perhaps this is not the best of circumstances upon which we should properly be acquainted." 2.) "Stop immediately! I must ask you to refrain from any sort of violence here! This artifact is too fragile to be handled by anyone other than myself!" 3.) (indignant) "Do you realize who I am, you putrescent fool? I demand that you let me go based upon the maritime laws that have been established for centuries."
______________________________________________________________
Doctor Knap - Read with clear diction; strange; absent-minded: 1.) "Now, now, let’s not overreact ‘Sep. Your grandfather should be fine for a little while. But don’t take too long. I should be able to keep him comfortable with what I’ve got in my medical bag, but it won’t save his life." 2.) "No one has ever found it. If you could retrieve it, it might just do the trick!" 3.) (yelling over a crowd) "QUIET! Stop your bickering. If you had all listened to me, none of this would have happened!"
______________________________________________________________
Jacques - Read with clear diction; low-pitch; similar to either Barry White or Issac Hayes ("Chef" from South Park): 1.) "Good. Here’s the key to the basement. And watch out for that stock boy of mine. He’s been acting a bit strange ever since the pirates landed here." 2.) "Hey, ‘Sep, why are you in such a big hurry? Your grandfather’s going to be fine, he must have gotten overexcited, that’s all." 3.) "I’ll tell you, I was born and raised on Desert Island, and running on that sand is no good for your legs."
______________________________________________________________
Fáolain - Read with clear diction; Irish/Scottish accent is optional: 1.) "Hegesippe, there is a doctor who does his rounds on the local islands. He may be able to help your grandfather. I’m not sure where to find him, but they say he is brilliant." 2.) (astonished) "You brought that crackpot to try and save your grandfather! This boy has no sense!" 3.) (exasperated) "Holy cow! The pirates have arrived on Lanyar Island"
______________________________________________________________
Iris - Female voice; read with clear diction; playful, but also seductive: 1.) "The only way you’re getting out of here is through me." 2.) "It was nothing, my captain. Don't give it another thought." 3.) (pleading) "Why don't you believe me? Don't you know where my loyalties reside by now?"

General Dialogue - Read with clear diction; these are various roleplayers, from everyday citizens of Twinsun to small bit parts. Feel free to interpret these any way you wish, come up with funny accents, let your imagination go wild!
"Hey guy! Isn't the weather great out here? We've got two suns, which means I can get even more tanned!"
"I'm not exactly sure where you could find a doctor. Sorry!"
"Haha...I've got a secret, and I'm not going to tell you, unless you do something nice for me."
"Have you heard of a strange ship which wanders the oceans at night? Oooh, it just gives me chills!"
"The pirates are coming, and I'm going to be ready for them!"
"You'd better get inside. It doesn't look safe out here."
"It's not cold to us up here. We're used to it. Just because we live next to a frozen lake doesn't mean we can't keep warm."
"Would you like to buy a hairdryer?"
"I love the smell of the ocean...it brings back so many memories."
